Sedona

Feb 5-12 we took a vacation to Sedona, AZ. We went with our great friends Linc and Lacey and we had a great time. It was wonderful to get away! It was a very relaxing vacation and very beautiful. This is the view from our hotel...


We got a great deal on the room through my parent's timeshare. We stayed at the Sedona Summit. When we were checking in, they talked Chris and I into their timeshare sales talk, I will never do another Diamond Resort timeshare again! It was the worst experience, they were so rude! After the 1000th time of telling them no, the sales person started saying our marriage would suffer if we did not buy and our children would have no cherished memories! Wow, they must be desperate! At one point, the sales person gave us an article to read that referenced marriage and vacation time, she said she wanted us to read it because she was really concerned about us, haha. When the time was up and she was not done with her sales pitch, she blamed Chris' 2 minute bathroom break! It will be an experience we will never forget!

Linc and Lacey at The Haunted Hamburger in Jerome! Jerome was a historic copper mining town, it is built on a big hill. It as a sight to see, it used to have a population of 15,000 in the 1920s but now only has 450! The homes looked very unstable, it seems if you were living on the side of a huge hill you would want a very stable home!

We went on a train ride to get the best view of the scenery. It was a tad boring, but beautiful. We were the youngest people by at least 30 years, just check out the people in the background.

Overall, it was a wonderful trip with great friends! I will post a pregnancy update soon. I am almost 27 weeks, it is going by so fast. I need time to slow down, there is so much to do!
