Last weekend, Case and I took our first Mommy-son road trip! I have been wanting to take a trip to see friends and Case has been wanting to meet Kally :)
As I was packing on Wednesday, I put Case in his play yard, I usually leave one door open so he can get to all his toys, put I needed him to be safe while I packed, so I pushed one of the doors closed. He figured out how to open it, I found him like this...haha
We made it safely to Houston on Thursday, we spent the whole day playing at Darcie's house. Darcie is one of my best friends, we met in high school, drill team girls :) Her daughter is Kally, she is 9 months old, about 2 months behind Case. They played really well together, it was so cute.
Thursday night, we went to stay at my sister in love's house. Chris' parents drove into town and had dinner with us. It was great seeing everyone. The bed in Skye's guestroom is one of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, I was in heaven!
Friday, we went out to Katy and stayed at my Aunt Kim's house for the day. Case had a great time playing with all the toys she had saved! Thanks for the new bath toys! Case loves the Noah's arc toy.
We went back to Houston Friday night and had a great dinner with my college roommates, Christy and Megan. My friend Alli, from high school also joined us. We had a great time catching up. Case loved the Mexican food. He was so exhausted from such a fun day, he fell asleep during dinner. He loved Alli!
Saturday we started the morning at Darcie's.

Saturday afternoon we went to Lake Conroe. My friend Jessica's family has a place out there. We enjoyed the sunshine, the pool was a little cold, but Case still loved splashing around.
We had a great time seeing everyone, it was a really fun weekend. We were exhausted when we got home Sunday, Case took a 3 hr nap!!
