Back to blogging...Our most recent Houston trip.

We just got back from 11 days in Houston with Chris.  It was glorious, just what we needed.  We miss him soooo much!

We started the week off with Chris flying to Dallas for the weekend.  We celebrated Molly's 1st birthday that Saturday (Oct 6).  It was so much fun.  Everything was pink and orange and Molly was a doll.  She was too cute eating her smash cake!

We drove back to Houston that Sunday.

Monday Case and I ran errands around Houston, we went grocery shopping for Chris, dropped off dry cleaning, etc...

Tuesday, Chris and I had a meeting with our builder.  Looks like we are delayed, we were expecting this. :(  The builder hopes that we will be in by Christmas.  That night Case magically started walking!! Woo Hoo!! We were just watching TV and he decided to stand and then took his 1st steps!  I'm so excited that he started walking when we were with Chris, we got to experience this milestone as a family!

Wednesday, Case and I brought lunch to one of my good friends, Alli, at her school.  Case loved walking around the school and watching all the kids!  We had dinner with my friend Jessica, it was great catching up with great friends, we can't wait to be back to Katy permanently!
Thursday night we headed to Bellville to stay with Chris' parents.

Friday, Chris got up early to hunt. That night we headed to College Station for Chris' friend Stuart's wedding. Chris was the best man! Chris' parents kept Case that night, it was great to have a date night and go out with friends.

Saturday was wedding day.  We had a great time, aren't these men handsome!

Leithan was the ring bearer.

The reception was a blast.  We had so much fun dancing! Case loved it!

Chris dancing with Jarob and Leithan.

You know it's a great wedding when just the vest is left!

Dancing with Daddy and Uncle Blake.

Sunday, we went to the Scarecrow Festival with Chris' brother and fam and Chris' cousin and fam.  This is Macayla (Chris' cousin's little girl) and Case! He had so much fun riding in the wagon with her.

Petting zoo!

Sadly, we had to come back on Monday.  It's always so hard to leave Chris.  We can't wait to all be back together.  2 more months...
