It's a boy!

We had our second ultrasound on Monday and found out we are having a boy!! We are so excited and thrilled that he was cooperating for the big reveal. The ultrasound was amazing. It is unbelievable what you can see. He was moving around so much, the tech had a hard time getting some measurements, but it looks like everything is very healthy! We saw a healthy heart, stomach, kidneys, brain, etc...amazing.

The tech was able to get some great shots of his cute little face. At first, he did not want to cooperate, but with a little effort, we got some. He looks like he might be a little frustrated with us in this one. His face is sideways, you can see his eyes, nose, and his open mouth.

His feet are measuring 1 inch!

He is waving at us!

We are so excited to start decorating the nursery now. We have not decided on a final name yet, still working on a middle name, so we will reveal that at a later date!

Best moment this week: Finding out the baby is a boy!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas! We started celebrating the week before at the Abbott's in Bellville. It was a blast seeing everyone on Saturday. Chris had a successful hunting outing, he got a coyote with his bow (from what I hear this was an amazing accomplishment) We enjoyed spending time with the family and had a great time playing games that evening. That night I got the stomach flu, it was horrible. I have not been that sick in a loooonnnggg time. We ended up making it home on Sunday, but went straight to the hospital, they hooked me up with some meds and fluids. It was a rough couple of days and long recovery, but I am doing much better!
For Christmas, we went to my Grandma's house in Louisiana. Before Christmas, we made divinity, what a mess, but delicious!

Beautiful Christmas tree!

We are blessed!

Me, Chris, and Gabby on Christmas Eve.
Chris, Me, Mom, and Dad on Christmas Eve.

It was great having everyone together. We had an amazing time and played 100% Fun a few times, so much fun! Chris and I were so blessed this year, we got a few things for the baby and the nursery!
Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years Eve!!
