All About The Abbotts: Labor Day Weekend

My Labor Day weekend started off a little rocky. It started Tuesday, I had a terrible case of mastitis and was so sick! It was awful, I was running a fever and it felt like I had the flu, plus I had a lot of pain from the infection! A friend at work called it Dolly Parton with the flu, haha. I stayed with my parents on Tuesday night, my mom helped me with Case through the night and I'm so glad I stayed because he had an awful night! He was up most of the night. I was able to get some good rest on Wednesday and Thursday and started feeling much better! I'm still a little sore my left side but getting better every day!

Chris went to Kosse for the weekend to go dove hunting with his friends and family, he had a great time, here is a pic of Caney with the doves...looks like she had a great time as well :)

On Friday, my mom, Case, and I drove to my Grandma's house in Bossier City. We went to my Aunt and Uncle's house for steaks that night. They were wonderful! Case had a bad evening again, maybe it was the traveling??

Saturday, we drove to Monroe to see my Grandma Mary (Dad's side) and her family, it was great catching up. We had not seen everyone in a while and it was their first time to meet Case.

That night we headed back to Shreveport and watched the LSU game at my aunt's house. My uncle made amazing "bar" food, sliders, wings, dips, etc! Yummy!

Sunday was my cousin, Ali's, birthday, we had a great day celebrating

We headed back home on Monday. Here we are saying our goodbyes!

My mom discovered Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, it is a show on Disney Junior that Case loves!! He gets so excited when it comes on, here he is watching it before we left!
